The Mountain CAD County Information Portal is a web-based application or Portal that allows users to search for Real Estate and/or Personal Property information contained in the WV County Assessor Integrated Assessment System (IAS).  This product can run internal to a courthouse or it can be a Web Page to allow users to do all manners of property research without coming to the courthouse.

The County Information Portal allows the user to search by single or multiple sets of criteria.  While IAS itself allows for lookup of individual properties the County Information Portal allows you to search for single or multiple properties.  In addition the user can use other search topics such as land use, tax class, property class, neighborhood and legal description.

Along with the tabular data contained in IAS the user can view the corresponding parcel map, a photo of the house or building on that map, a scanned deed and a building footprint.

The Portal can also serve the Enterprise.  Because of it s GIS component the product can serve as a centralized mapping system for the entire county and it can integrate with other popular GIS software from vendors like ESRI and Autodesk.  It is the perfect tool to share data around the courthouse and the county.
